About me
I was born in Poland at the dawn of the Soviet Union. I left Poland in my late 20s. After many years of a nomadic lifestyle, living between England, Spain, and Poland, I now consider both Warsaw and Barcelona my home. I think in English, speak in Spanish, and dream in Polish. My career path has always been tied to design and visual art. I began as a graphic designer focused on posters and branding, then transitioned into custom tattoo art and freelance illustration. Eventually, I moved into UX and UI design. I’m currently aiming to enter the world of children’s book illustration.
I have always been passionate about storytelling and world-building. As a kid I would make my own toys, build their homes, and design their costumes. My dolls and teddy bears were often my best friends. Books, animation, and film have always been my companions, whether they depict fantastical, mythical worlds or stories grounded in reality and nature.
My style
A touch of whimsy often sneaks into my work. I have a deep love for color theory and make sure to apply it consciously in all my illustrations. I love how the right use of atmospheric light can be a powerful design tool. Even though I mostly work in digital media, I strive to bring a traditional art feel to my illustrations.
My favorite themes usually revolve around the comfort of solitude, daydreaming, kindness, empathy, exploration, adventures, and anthropomorphism - I love turning objects and animals into characters with interesting backstories.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games and video games, discovering new music, cooking, taking walks in nature, and indulging in dishes containing potatoes (I really love potatoes).
